updating ubuntu command line - Play count not updating itunes 11

The version 12.4.3 release is available to download now from the Mac App Store. This bug, which has been plaguing i Tunes users for a while, meant that playlist changes made on an i Phone, i Pad or i Pod were not synced back to i Tunes on a Mac, leaving users with two different playlists on different devices. But every time I run the executable file, the Data Execution Prevention message pops up and says that it cannot run.

Apple says that issue is now fixed in i Tunes 12.4.3, which is available for Mac and Windows users now.

If you don’t like the Mac App Store, you can download this update from Apple’s website instead, which is where you’ll also find the Windows version.

my Win XP give this error on explorer and generic host services, I dont know what else will cause an error, its like everyday there is a new program that causes the error, that also windows programs.

I am trying to run Warlords Battlecry 3 on Windows Vista.

Defrag works on my other partitions - just not on "C".

I've tried setting it to "only essential Windows programs and services" (that was the default - when the problem began), and I've tried with exceptions for: defrag.exe, dfrgntfs.exe, dfrgfat.exe, dfrg.msc, and "df*.dll". niall o callaghan, if there is something that is causing the error, it gets added to the list itself, you don't have to add.Data Execution Prevention is exactly what it sounds like: the operating system, using either hardware, software or both, depending on the processor's capabilities, traps the attempt to execute data as if it were code. It's a very effective technique at blocking malware even if the vulnerability being exploited hasn't even been publicly exposed yet. Some programs execute data as if it were code on purpose. It’s been awhile since I posted some sort of tech/computer thing on this blog, but when I was using this little tip myself today, I thought I’d share it. One thing I’ve noticed about i Tunes is that not everything is easily changeable. There’s been times where I’ve accidentally deleted an album with playcounts, and wanted to get back what I had. Open Notepad and put the following text in it: Dim i Tunes App, curr Track, new Play Count Dim prompt, title, default Value Set i Tunes App = WScript. It’s not perfect, but it is useful if you want to change the playcount of an individual track in i Tunes.I can’t remember how I happened upon this, but I wanted to pass on the info. Or I’ve imported a new version of an album, and I wanted to transfer over my playcounts, but you can’t do that in i Tunes itself without resorting to playing the track the number of times you want, and shifting the slider bar to the last two seconds so the playcount gets increased. Current Track prompt = "New playcount:" title = curr Track. When you double click on it, a box will pop up, asking you what you want the playcount to be. If i Tunes isn’t running, or you don’t have anything selected (like you just started i Tunes), it will error as well.
